The landscape in and around Flachau is characterised by beautiful alpine pastures, which are great destinations for families. For example, a family-friendly hike suitable for prams leads to the Marbachalm along a crystal-clear mountain stream. When you hike up to the Lackenalm pastures, you will be greeted by a wide, lush green alpine pasture and an impressive view of the upper Enns Valley. At the Scharfetthütte, a telescope awaits you, with which you can catch a glimpse of an ibex if you are lucky.

The Grießenkar, the Lackenkogel, but also the Spirzinger or the Hochgründeck - all these peaks have something in common: they are about 2,000 m high and offer fantastic views. With a little bit of fitness, these peaks are also easy for families to manage and it is a really great feeling to stand together at the summit cross, make an entry in the summit book and enjoy the gigantic mountain panorama.

Tips for easy, family-friendly hiking tours in Flachau

Hiking, playing and having fun is the motto of the family circular trail Flori's Erlebnispfad, whose starting point is at the Waldgasthof (directly at the Starjet 1 mountain station). The walking time is approx. 1.5 to 2 hours. Lots of puzzles, games and fun stations await you, such as Flyingfox, a climbing wall, swings, a forest slide and a nature cinema.
