Parade of the clubs with a village festival infront of the ballroom

Parade of clubs followed by a village festival in front of the Flachau Festsaal.

The parade of clubs starts from the Old Jagdhof and proceeds to the Festsaal, led by the Flachau Whip Association on horseback, with all Flachau traditional clubs marching into the town center. Stops are made at major hotels and inns, where the Stegerschützen (shooting club) fire an honorary salute to the owners. Then, the Trachtenmusikkapelle (traditional music band) strikes up a rendition of "Happy Birthday" or "Hoch soll er leben."

Following this, there's a small village festival in front of the Flachau Festsaal, featuring an evening concert by the Trachtenmusikkapelle Flachau, Schuhplattler (shoe-slapping dance) and folk dance performances by the local heritage association "D´Grießenkarecker," as well as whip-cracking demonstrations by the Whip Association. Food and drinks will be available. Admission is free!
