A dreamlike gravel bike tour like it is written in the book. Super asphalt, forest and gravel paths lead to the World Cup resort of Zauchensee.

Start at Flachau Tourismus - across the main road out of town and at the restaurant Hoagascht turn right and immediately left into the Ennsradweg - follow the signposted cycle path along the river "Enns" towards Reitdorf and on to Altenmarkt - at the next junction turn into Brunnbauerngasse and before the church turn left (across Schattauergasse) towards Zauchensee - follow the road approx. 3 km in the direction of Zauchensee - turn right after the "Gloner" camping site and immediately left again onto Zauchenseestraße. Shortly before the Hochbifangbahn valley station, turn right over the bridge and immediately left onto the gravel road - on mostly gravel roads, which run parallel to the asphalt road, it goes by a moderate climb to the turning point of the tour to Zauchensee - via Zauchenseestraße it leads back to Altenmarkt. At Hotel Alpenland turn left into Feuersangweg and continue towards Winterbauer. From here it goes downhill and via the Ennsradweg again back to the starting point in Flachau.

Before each ride, check that your gravel bike is in good working order and inform yourself about the weather in advance. Wearing a helmet is also recommended for your own safety.
