Wir starten im Zentrum von Flachau Richtung Norden über den Ennsradwegund legen die ersten 3km gemütlich auf Asphalt mit leichtem Gefälle zurück. Ein längerer Anstieg über mehrer Kurven bringt uns nun erst durch den Wald, später über Wiesen auf den breiten Rücken zwischen Flachau und Altenmarkt. Nach 6,4 km endet die Asphaltstrecke und ein Forstweg bringt uns nun durch den Wald weiter aufwärts, ehe wir knapp nach dem höchsten Punkt zum Berggasthof Sattelbauer gelangen, der zur Einkehr lädt. Wahlweise gemütlich über die asphaltierte Straße und Forstwege,oder aber rasanter über einen Singletrail hat man jede Menge Abfahrtsvergnügen, ehe man im Talboden wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt radelt.

Start in the center/minigolf; turn left and follow the signposted cycle path along the Enns to the Feuersang junction; after the freeway underpass, continue straight ahead uphill along the Feuersangweg; at km 5.3 take the fork to the right (direction left leads to Berggasthof Winterbauer); at the Wetterkreuz at km 5,8 follow the ascent to the left; at km 6,3 turn right onto the forest road and follow it; at km 7,0 stay on the bike path to the right; stop at the Berggasthof Sattelbauer; return downhill along the Sattelweg (on asphalt, gravel or single trail); at approx. km 13 turn right and return to the starting point via the Ennsradweg.
Check the functionality of your mountain bike before each ride and inform yourself in about the current weather on site. For your own safety, we recommend to wear a helmet.
A mountainbiker's basic equipment:
- protective gear
- enough to drink and eat for inbetween
- sunglasses, optionally sun cream or rain cover
- mobile phone
Parking possibilities are available at the center of Flachau (BBF-Center & Minigolf).
