Vom Startpunkt im Zentrum Flachaus führt uns die Tour entlang des Ennsradweges flussaufwärts. Vorbei am Flachauwinkler Badesee, der nach der Tour zu einer kühlen Erfrischung einlädt, gelangen wir nach Flachauwinkl. Hier endet der Ennsradweg und wir folgen weiter der Asphaltstraße entlang des naturbelassenen Wildbachs Pleißling. Nach etwa 10km zweigen wir rechts ab und gelangen über leicht ansteigende Forstwege ins Marbachtal. Am Eingang des idyllischen Tals stehen wir vor der Qual der Wahl, welche der beiden einmaligen Einkehrmöglichkeiten besucht werden soll. Die Prechtlhütte auf der vorderen Marbachalm oder die Ennslehenhütte auf der hinteren Marbachalm, beide Hütten sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Rückfahrt erfolgt auf dem selbem Weg zurück nach Flachau.

Start at Flachau Tourism - follow the Ennsradweg in the direction of the end of the valley to Flachauwinkl - at km 3.5 past the bathing lake Flachauwinkl - at km 6 pass the valley station Schischaukel Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee - at km 15 turn right in the direction of Marbachalmen (start of gravel road / barriers) - follow the gravel road into the wonderful Almtal at the foot of the striking Faulkogel - several stops along the Marbachtal - same route back to Flachau
Before each ride, check that your gravel bike is in good working order and inform yourself about the weather in advance. Wearing a helmet is also recommended for your own safety.
The basic equipment of a gravel biker includes:
- Protective equipment and suitable clothing
- Refreshments for in-between
- Sunglasses, sunscreen or rain protection if necessary
- Mobile phone
