Guided hiking tour "Kas & Krapfen"
This hike takes us by bus to Zauchensee, from where we trek across meadows and pastures to Tauernkarleitenalm. The soot-blackened smoke kitchen of the Alpine hut resembles an alpine museum, and the Alpine snack is hearty indeed. At Tauernkarleitenalm, the famous "Radstädter Kas", a sour cheese enjoyed with ample butter, is served, and if we're lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of the cheese-making process. Tip: Make sure to try the fresh, homemade farmer's doughnuts!
