Faulkogel

The Faulkogel, at 2654m, is one of the highest elevations of the Lower Tauern. For experienced mountaineers, this route is a unique highlight. The ascent begins at the rear Marbachalm after a short warm-up stretch. The intense and demanding climb leads us over switchback trails up to the Neukar. Rope protections are provided repeatedly at exposed sections. A highlight is also the "chimney," a climbing passage with rope protection – surefootedness and freedom from dizziness required!
