Guidelines for accommodation cancellations according to the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions
Unless the accommodation providers have their own booking and cancellation conditions, the following terms and conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry apply:
Up to three months before the agreed date of arrival of the guest at the latest, the accommodation contract can be cancelled by both contracting parties (guest and accommodation provider) by unilateral declaration without payment of a cancellation fee.
Thereafter, cancellation by unilateral declaration by the contracting party is only possible subject to payment of the following cancellation fees:
- up to 1 month before the date of arrival 40% of the total package price
- up to 1 week before the day of arrival 70% of the total package price
- in the last week before the day of arrival 90% of the package price
