The nearest railway stations are in Altenmarkt/Pg. approx. 8 km or Radstadt approx. 12 km from Flachau.
The railway station in Bischofshofen (approx. 28 km from Flachau) is the nearest railway junction (with a variety of train connections from all directions).
From the train station you can take a taxi directly to the neighbourhood in Flachau. There is also a public bus connection from Radstadt via Altenmarkt/Pg. to Flachau (please note, however, that the public bus only stops at certain fixed stops and you may have a longer journey to your accommodation).
Public transport - buses
Find the right bus connection - by the way, you can use the public buses free of charge with the Guest Mobility Ticket throughout Salzburger Land. You can get the Guest Mobility Ticket from your Flachau host.
Travelling by car
Travelling to Flachau is easy. In the middle of Austria, in the middle of Europe - Flachau can be reached very easily and directly via the A10 Tauern motorway (Exit 66) - from Germany/Holland via Munich and Salzburg, from Italy via Villach and Spittal.
Travelling by plane
Numerous airlines bring you to Flachau via Salzburg Airport. Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is Austria's largest regional airport. Inexpensive shared taxis will take you from the airport to Flachau or you can book your own individual taxi transfer.
