Zauchensee-Untertauern route SW25

We start in the center of Flachau and follow the paved road as a warm-up to the Sattelbauer mountain inn. From there, we go back down into the valley via a gravel road, where we follow a beautiful forest trail along the Zauchbach stream with a moderate uphill. Arriving at the Ski World Cup resort Zauchensee, the route continues on asphalt to Oberzauchensee and then up a steep trail (the bike may have to be pushed here) to the scenic Stubhöhe, the highest point of the route.
