Ensemble "Die Saligen" | Konzert

The ensemble “Die Saligen” combines traditional folk music with new sounds and original compositions. Four female musicians from Pongau and Lungau dedicate themselves musically to the themes of nature, stories, and lived tradition.

In addition to newly created songs and pieces, they also draw on traditional yodels and melodies, which they interpret in their own way. This creates a soundscape that combines tradition with a spirit of experimentation.

The concert is complemented by stories from the world of the “Saligen” – mythical figures from the mountains – and a fine, often winking perspective on life.
