Jakob, a shoemaker's boy, mocks the fairy Kräuterweis and is transformed by her into a dwarf with a long nose. As "Dwarf Nose," he works at the Duke's court. By chance, he meets the goose Mimi, who tells him that he must find a special herb to be redeemed. Together, they embark on an adventure in which Jakob must prove all his cooking skills in order to be redeemed in the end.
