Good luck and into the adventure! In the Salzwelten Salzburg at Dürrnberg near Hallein, you will dive deep into the fascinating history of "white gold." On your journey through the mountain, you will experience 2,600 years of salt mining and learn about the significance of salt for the history and prosperity of Salzburg.

The entrance via the mine train is already an experience. Underground, two long miners' slides and a mysterious raft ride across the underground salt lake await you. On top of that, you will even cross the only underground state border in Europe.
