A musical journey through the history of the harp is the focus of this concert as part of the 40th Paul Hofhaimer Days.

Arianna Savall (soprano, historical harps) and Petter Udland Johansen (tenor, fiddle, baroque violin, among others) dedicate themselves to the sonorous diversity of this traditional instrument.

The harp is one of the oldest instruments in humanity and has always been closely associated with mythology, spirituality, and healing arts. The concert spans a bridge from medieval sounds to the music of the Baroque, connecting works, dances, and improvisations from various regions of Europe.
