Leisurely snowshoe tour starting from Reitdorf via the Reiteckwald forest to the beautifully situated Höch Castle.
On this easy snowshoe hike, which leads through the Reiteckwald forest and next to the groomed Tauern cross-country ski trail, hikers especially appreciate the magnificent views that the area around the beautiful Höch Castle offers. Especially the spacious loop that leads off the road across a wide field with a direct view of the picturesque Höch Castle is the absolute highlight of this snowshoe hike.

The snowshoe tour starts in Reitdorf 50 metres behind the Opel Esser car repair shop and first goes uphill through the Reiteckwald forest and on to the Tauernloipe cross-country ski trail. Then follow the trail towards Wagrain and after about 1 km turn right along the winter hiking trail to the idyllically situated Höch Castle. After another loop next to the cross-country ski trail, you return to Reitdorf via the ascent trail.
