The local trail leads past Kellerdörfl in the direction of Eckwald (Ameisenberg) with a wonderful view of Altenmarkt and the Dachstein massif. You go back via the Hacklhof/Palfenbauer and Römerhof to the starting point. It is particularly suitable for advanced users.
The Town Circuit cross-country ski trail heads out through Kellerdörfl, towards the Eckwald woods on Ameisen mountain, and offers wonderful views out over Altenmarkt and the Dachstein Massif. It then comes back via Hacklbauer and Palfenbauer farms down to the Römerhof riding stables and back to the start point. This is a fun route for better skiers.

The start point for the town circuit trail is in Altenmarkt behind the school. Take the trail out towards the hills by Kellerdörfl, then up into Eck woods to Hackl farm then back down to the start.
Observe FIS rules, road crossings, climbs and descents
Cross-country skiing equipment, clothing depending on the weather, drinking bottle
Parking - At the school then cross over the road to Rosnerfeld to start.
