Long mountain bike tour into the almost untouched forest valley.
From Flachau, take the Ennsradweg in the direction of Radstadt, from where you now enter the signposted route (SW 12). The first few kilometres to Forstau are now covered on asphalt roads and almost 300m are overcome. After a casual descent, you will reach Forstau and take the forest path, which will lead you to the end of the valley to Forstauwinkl. For very demanding bikers the path will be almost a little bit too flat, others will enjoy exactly that, as it never gets really steep and you can enjoy the landscape and nature to the full. Arrived at the beautiful valley head, two excellent rest stops invite you to linger. (For ambitious bikers there is the possibility to ride up to the Oberhütte and the lake of the same name on a very demanding route - attention! Only for really experienced bikers). The same route then leads via Forstau back to Radstadt, where you re-enter the Ennsradweg and follow it back to Flachau.
