More informations

The hike runs for the most part across meadows and alpine pastures that serve as ski slopes in winter. Numerous refreshment stops such as Latschenhof, Jandlalm or the Waldgasthof are available to hungry and thirsty hikers with regional delicacies. From the Latschenhof, there is also the option of taking the lift down into the valley. Again and again we cross the goods path that leads across the pastures. From the forest inn, we walk along the edge of the forest down to the Neureithweg, follow this for approx. 200 m and then branch off to the left into the shady high forest, through which the footpath leads moderately steeply downhill until we meet the forest path shortly before the village of Flachau, which leads us to the Grießenkarweg and via this to Flachau.
