My friends and I are in the starting blocks with the brakes on. Our guide Dixi gives us some final advice and tips on how best to approach the curves. Then, we fasten our helmets and our safety belts. On your marks, get set, go!

For the first few metres, it all feels a little strange. Both brakes – stop! Left-hand brake – drift! Soon, we start to get a feel for the cart – and get faster and faster.
