It starts at 7.00pm when the sun sets. You will ride of a selective 4.5 km circuit with 200 m difference in height. The varied course includes everything to make a Mountain biker’s heart beat faster - steep short climbs, meadow and gravel paths, a longer climb, natural obstacles such as bridges, underpasses, narrow sections and much more, a downhill section on the Hermann Maier World Cup run (where the elite of the ladies ski teams risk everything) and an obstacle course in the event area.
The race mode similar to Formula 1 guarantees special excitement. For 2 hours the participants try to complete as many laps as possible. After these 2 hours the leader who has crossed the start & finish line the most times, the final lap will be called for everyone. After this the fight is on for any additional ranking - an exciting finish is guaranteed.
The winner is the participant with the most laps and the fastest time. If there are the same number of laps then the fastest is the winner. Participants with fewer laps will be ranked according to the number of laps completed and their time.
After the overall winner has crossed the finishing line all participants have to complete the lap they started.

The allocation into starting blocks is based purely on the qualifying.
starting block 1: the 20 best male and 10 best female participants from the qualifying
starting block 2: the remaining participants from the qualifying
starting block 3: all other participants who didn't take part in the qualifying round
