What is the Queen's realm and her noblemen all about?
The idea behind it is that the seven mountains symbolise the "Benevolent Queen and her six noblemen". Each mountain peak has a story to tell, a message to share and a piece of wisdom for mountain lovers. So if you set off, you will not only hike through a beautiful mountain landscape, but also get closer to the wisdom of the mountains step by step.

What you need for this:
The summit box with tour book for personal notes and inspiring summit rituals, hiking map, carabiner and summit game pendant. This is available online and at the Flachau Tourist Office at a price of Euro 25.00 or Euro 19.00 with the Flachau Summer Card and a special hiking experience can begin.

The game instructions
How does the Salzburger Gipfelspiel work?
- You can purchase your personal summit box at the Flachau tourist office or at one of the tourist offices in the Salzburger Sportwelt: it contains the basic equipment with tour book, drinking cup, carabiner and map.
- You can climb the peaks in any order you like. Get a stamp for your tour book at each summit.
- For every stamp we give you a "collectible summit" for your drinking cup. Wear this visibly on the outside of your rucksack so that other summit players can recognise you.
- In the summit books you will find interesting information about the respective mountain as well as a ritual. Let them inspire you!
- Once you have mastered at least four of the seven hikes, a nice surprise awaits you. Pick it up at the Flachau Tourist Office or at one of the tourist offices in the Salzburger Sportwelt.

Here in Flachau, the Saukarfunktel (2,028 m) invites you to enjoy a marvellous panoramic hike. As part of the Salzburger Gipfelspiel, it takes on the role of poet and encourages you to recognise and use your own talents.
About the Saukarfunktel
The Saukarfunktel - a small, rocky summit pyramid with a magnificent view - owes its name to the ferrous rock, which sparks when struck by lightning. Those who set off for the Saukarfunktel first enjoy a comfortable ride on the lift directly from the centre of Flachau up to 1,730 metres above sea level. From here, you first hike up to the Grießenkareck (1,991 m), which can be seen from afar. From this first summit, a leisurely panoramic trail leads to the final destination. Around the summit of the Saukarfunktel you will find huge boulders and rocks that are ideal for resting and picnicking.
