Even younger children can take part in activities in Flachau and its surroundings by wading in one of the two lakes and frolicking on the playgrounds.

Family hiking tours to the Marbachalm

A suggestion is to take a leisurely family hike to the  Marbachalm to Flachauwinkl. The route leads by beautiful Alm landscape along the Marbaches and is easily traversable with the baby carriage.


With a pause on the Alms in Flachau, hearty Alpine picnic and sweet delicacies await large and small lovers of sweets.

Family bike tours

Shorter bike tours with no or slight incline along the Flachautal are also possible with infants. If mom and dad with the bikes would prefer to avoid exertion - also no problem - with the Flachau electric bikes power themselves it around some lighter. The E-bikes can be rented in our bike rental shops with Fun & Pro and with Sport Perner - available with a child's seat.
