Flachau tradition

Events and celebrations conducted by the Flachau Culture Associations

Flachau is a lively place in Salzburg Land in which traditions have been preserved.

Influenced by the natural and church yearly cycles, the May tree placement on 1 May or the processions on Fronleichnam and on Herz Jesu Sunday and the harvest celebration - ideal opportunities to see this part of life in Flachau.

Additionally, there are the weekly plaza concerts presented by the TMK Flachau and the culture evenings of the association for local history D`Grießenkarecker. All dates can be found here.

During the Flachau Farmers’ Autumn at the end of August to the beginning of October, there are many additional traditional celebrations on the program.
