A tip for all bike sportsmen is the variety of road biking tours in and around Flachau. From one place to the next - at high speed - on scenic roads.
Two impressive road bike tours lead from Flachau to Filzmoos and/or to Jägersee in Kleinarl.

Route directions:

approximately 60 km, about 350 meters elevation difference
Start in Flachau - drive through the village on the main street to the roundabout. Turn at the second exit in the roundabout onto the village road. At the crossing, by the municipal office Reitdorf, turn right and follow the main street in the direction of Altenmarkt to the motorway bridge. Turn left after the bridge in direction of the company, Atomic. After approximately 1 km, turn left at the crossing Kesselgrub/Brückenwirt and follow the main street to the railroad crossing to Eben. Through the village Eben to the junction Filzmoos – turn right and follow the county road to the center of Filzmoos (roundabout). At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue towards Hofalmen. Pass the Mautstelle (toll station); remain on the asphalt road to either Unterhof or Oberhofalm. Return the same way. |

approximately 50 km, approximately 1000 meters elevation difference
Start in Flachau - ride through the village on the main street to the roundabout, take the third exit in the direction of Wagrain (AP gas station) - at the second roundabout, take the second exit and continue on the main street (cycle trail is also partially possible) – past the sawmill, Mayrdörfl, Schwaighof and Moos to the center of Wagrain. At the crossing (left side church), turn left in the direction of the village square Wagrain/Kleinarl - Talstation Grafenbergbahn. Follow the road in the direction of Kleinarl – through the village Kleinarl to the end of the valley Kleinarl/Jägersee. Return along the same route.
